Our ADHD nation and its ADHD media

War in Iraq? What war?

To visit any of the media sites or read the newspaper, Iraq is SOOOOO Yesterday's news.

Forget that almost 6,000 people have died in the last two months. The ADHD media (pandering to its ADHD audiences) is completely and 100% focused on Lebanon (and of course, the Good Morning America redux on Prince Di and Charlie's wedding)

With a few scarce mentions, the war in Iraq War on Terror, has all but been scrubbed from the front page.

Now, I agree that what is going on in Lebanon is a travesty, and not at all a "measured response" as was so eloquently put by Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

However, there is no less of a humanitarian nightmare occurring in Iraq. So, is this the lapdog press trying to keep things that would embarrass fearless leader off the airwaves, or is it just a reminer of our sound-byte society?

Either way, it is dereliction of duty (again) by the press.
